个人信息
南溪(Nan Qi)，1960年生于中国浙江省永康市。1986年毕业于解放军艺术学院，现为中国美术家协会会员、中国画学会创会理事。现居住北京宋庄南溪工作室，专职从事艺术创作。1989年南溪在北京中国美术馆画廊、1997年上海香格纳画廊举办了个人画展，1998年、2006年和2009年相继在香港、新加坡、浙江、河北等地举办个人画展，2011年在上海美术馆举办个展。
南溪在水墨艺术上的成就是拓宽了当代艺术语境，并使当今数字时代的科技与几千年中国传统艺术的脉络相融合，他创出一套“南氏水墨三法——南氏笔路、南氏晕点、南氏三维水墨”，已经让纸质水墨从艺术语言本体上往前跨出了一大步。南溪的作品具有鲜明的当代艺术性和前瞻性，他开创性地“将诡异3D引入绘画”、同时还“将印刷网点用原色印出复色的原理引入绘画”，这些探索和实验使二维的架上绘画走向了三维表达，使静态的画面能产生动态感，颠覆了人们惯常的视觉经验,为架上绘画艺术打开了崭新的一页。南溪的艺术实验与研究被许多著名的当代艺术批评家认为具有艺术史的意义，如刘骁纯、贾方舟、鲁虹、陈孝信、冀少峰等都撰文立论。南溪的作品连续四届入选中国文联主办在北京中国美术馆举行的“北京国际美术双年展”和连续多次入选“深圳国际水墨双年展”以及入选“第三届成都双年展”，入选中国文化部主办在深圳美术馆、北京今日美术馆举行及赴美国、欧洲巡回展的“墨非墨•中国当代水墨邀请展”，参加“穿越历史•当代艺术邀请展”等重要的艺术展览。出版了《墨点色点•南溪作品集》、《南溪三维立体水墨作品集》等画册，作品被当代艺术著名的杂志《东方艺术•大家》、《Asian Art News Magazine, HK》等作为封面和长篇专题报道。
南溪艺术的革新精神和艺术创造力以及艺术作品的先驱性，对水墨画坛与当代艺术界产生了深远的影响。
